KindieFest 2010!

That’s right, folks, time to register for KindieFest 2010, the best place out there for getting your music into the ears of industry insiders. The shindig will go down at Littlefield NYC in Brooklyn the weekend of April 30-May 2. The conference will include roundtables and live performances, including a very rare East Coast appearance by Frances England.

According to their website, KindieFest is the world’s first-ever family music conference that fully embraces today’s market in all its diversity. Focusing exclusively on music for kids and families, KindieFest will help uncover the fastest-growing aspect of the music business: family entertainment.

KindieFest got started back in 2009 in Brooklyn (under the name StinkFest), with a sold-out day of panels and a night of music and fun. It grew out of showcases in 2007 and 2008. In 2010, KindieFest expands to three days, including a first-night party and keynote and a Sunday public festival.

KindieFest 2010, overseen by Tor Hyams, Stephanie Mayers, Bill Childs, and Mona Kayhan, already has confirmed appearances by Dan Zanes, Justin Roberts, Readeez’ Michael Rachap, Recess Monkey, Mr. Leebot (aka Lee Davila), They Might Be Giants drummer Marty Beller, and Ashley Albert of The Jimmies. Earlybird registration ends February 15, so pack your guitars and head on over to KindieFest!
